Melrose Wisconsin officially opens their new Frisbee Disc Golf Course. The course was donated to the village by the Larry Kyser Memorial Committee. The committee had approached the Village of Melrose wanting to do something for the local youth. Tory Lockington designed the course and the Melrose-Mindoto football team helped put it in. This activity is fun for all ages, free to use, and provides great family fun. The Larry Kyser Memorial Committee held the first official game in September. Larry’s widow, kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids gathered to hold a game in his honor. Colin Lockington won the first official game. If you’d like to check out the course, it is located next to the Melrose ballfields near the school.
